In order to accelerate the integration and application of 5G in the industry, promote and improve the level of safety production management with new technologies, on July 9th, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Henan Province and the People's Government of Jiaozuo City jointly held the "Henan Province Open pit Mining 5G Application Experience Exchange Conference", and organized 97 key open-pit mining enterprises in the province to conduct on-site observation activities of 5G application in the Jiaozuo Qianye Cement Project. Zhu Ming, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Henan Province, Sun Qipeng, Deputy Mayor of Jiaozuo City People's Government of Henan Province, Wang Aizhen, President of Henan Building Materials Industry Association, and Hu Bo, Deputy General Manager of China Mobile Communications Group Henan Co., Ltd., led a team to observe and attend the conference.

　　The attendees first conducted on-site observation at the Qianye Cement 5G Green Unmanned Intelligent Mine Information Center, gaining a visual understanding of how production equipment such as 5G remote control excavators and unmanned pure electric mining trucks have achieved unmanned operations throughout the entire process of shoveling, transportation, unloading, and charging in open-pit mining areas with the support of 5G technology. The three major highlights of this project are the ultra-low latency of remote control, the environmental benefits of pure electric mining trucks, and the safety of operators, which have attracted the attention of many entrepreneurs.

　　Subsequently, at the "Henan Province Open pit Mining 5G Application Experience Exchange Conference", invited experts explained the current situation and situation of deepening the application of new generation information technology represented by 5G in open-pit mining areas nationwide, as well as successful cases and practices of 5G application in key open-pit mining areas nationwide. As a pioneer in the smart mining industry, Yang Hui, the chief engineer of Yuexin Company, gave a speech on behalf of the company. He conducted a deep analysis of the technical route of 5G smart mining and the social and economic benefits it has achieved. He also put forward constructive suggestions for the future intelligent development of the mining industry.
