On the morning of October 17, 2020, the "2020 China (Zhengzhou) Industrial Transfer Matchmaking Series Activities -5G Special Matchmaking Conference" jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the People's Government of Henan Province was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.

　　The 5G special docking conference is organized by the Information and Communication Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Henan Province. More than 400 representatives from industrial and information technology departments and enterprises in some provinces and cities across the country attended the meeting.

　　During the meeting, it was mentioned that Henan Province is actively promoting the deep application of 5G in unmanned mining, smart healthcare, and other fields. In the third "Blooming Cup" 5G Application Collection Competition held this year, Henan Yuexin won one first prize, namely the "Jiaomei Group Qianye Cement 5G Green Unmanned Mining" project, which Henan Yuexin participated in, one second prize, one third prize, and nine excellent awards.

　　Yang Hui, General Manager of Yuexin Era, was invited to attend this conference and speak on behalf of the mining industry. He discussed how 5G empowers smart mines, solves industry pain points and difficulties, and deeply analyzes how 5G+smart mines lead industry transformation and development. In the speech, it was mentioned that with the increasingly strict requirements of the country for the comprehensive development and utilization of mining resources, environmental protection, mining technology, technical equipment, safety management, etc., using digitization, informatization, automation, and intelligence to drive the transformation and upgrading of traditional mining, creating safe, green, efficient, and intelligent mines, and improving core competitiveness, is the only way for China's mining industry.
