The "Blooming Cup" 5G Application Collection Competition is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the 5G Application Industry Matrix, the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group, and the China Communications Standardization Association. It has been held three times so far and is the top level competition for 5G industry applications in China.

　　A total of 4289 projects participated in this competition, and 360 projects ultimately made it to the national finals. After intense competition, the intelligent mining projects of Henan Yuexin, Henan Mobile Construction, Coking Coal Group, and Luoyang Molybdenum Group stood out from many candidate projects and won one first prize and one winning prize in the national finals. Henan Yuexin is the only enterprise in China, apart from 5G operators, to receive dual awards.

First prize winning project: Jiaomei Group Qianye Cement 5G Green Unmanned Mine

　　Project Introduction: This is the first batch of 5G green unmanned mining projects in China and the first officially commercialized project in Henan Province. It is also the only project in Henan Province that has been shortlisted for the first prize in the competition. This project adopts the 5G green unmanned mine overall scheduling system independently developed by Yuexin, as well as the pure electric unmanned mining card, intelligent excavator, remote control drilling rig, crushing station, unmanned weighing scale and other equipment independently developed and produced. By using V2X communication technology, these devices are effectively incorporated into the entire operation team. Relying on the advantages of 5G communication technology "low time delay and high bandwidth", the project realizes remote control, intelligent automatic operation and cooperative operation of mine equipment cluster, and carries out intelligent control in real time according to the ore blending grade and mining output demand of the concentrator, which truly realizes the whole process of unmanned operation of shoveling, loading and transportation in the open pit, greatly improves the safety, mining efficiency and resource utilization rate of non coal mine production, and provides a model for unmanned mining in the open pit nationwide.

Excellent Award Winning Project: Luoyang Luanchuan Molybdenum Industry Group Co., Ltd. 5G Intelligent Unmanned Mine

Project Overview: Leveraging 5G technology to achieve ultra remote precise control of drilling, shoveling, and loading, as well as intelligent formation operation of pure electric mining trucks, promoting the informatization upgrade of the mining industry. This will result in an annual recovery of 820000 tons of residual ore and an additional output value of 164 million yuan.

Henan Yuexin will rely on pure electric unmanned mining cards and unmanned mining technology, with providing 5G green unmanned mining overall solution services as the development core, opening up the widespread application of 5G technology in the field of green unmanned mining, becoming a leader in global green unmanned mining overall solutions, and ultimately forming an industrial chain cluster with Yuexin as the link, integrating technology research and development, high-end equipment manufacturing, and 5G green unmanned mining, making positive contributions to the transformation and upgrading of the mining industry and environmental protection.
