On December 29, 2019, good news came from the 13th China Industry University Research Cooperation Innovation Conference hosted by the China Association for the Promotion of Industry University Research Cooperation held in Beijing. The "Development and Application of Energy Recovery System for Pure Electric Mining dump trucks in Complex Road Conditions" project independently developed by Henan Yuexin won the first prize of China Industry University Research Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Award in 2019. This is another national level first prize won by Henan Yuexin, following the evaluation of "Key Technologies for Unmanned Mining Equipment and Intelligent Control Integration in Open Pit Mines Based on 5G Communication" as the "2019 China Nonferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology First Prize".

　　In order to meet the needs of green mining construction, in July 2017, Henan Yuexin identified the development and application of a "pure electric mining dump truck mining complex road energy recovery system" as a key project for research and development. The SY series pure electric mining trucks developed utilize energy feedback from downhill and energy consumption from uphill to compensate for each other. Compared with diesel transport vehicles of the same power, this model of vehicle saves 30% of energy consumption per ton kilometer, and maintenance costs are only half. After nearly 50 vehicles have been practically applied in mines for nearly two years, they have been inspected and tested by the National Mining Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. Based on "zero emissions", key technical indicators such as acceleration, climbing, and endurance mileage have set a benchmark for the industry, bringing revolutionary storms to open-pit mining transportation equipment.

They have become green and environmentally friendly intelligent mining equipment that integrates pure electric drive and unmanned driving, opening a new journey for China to build green and smart mines.
